We aim to support parents in making childcare arrangements as easy and stress free as possible.
The Nanny Collective was created in order to provide a platform for parents to connect with Early Childhood professionals who provide quality care and developmentally appropriate learning for children in their home environments.
As an Early Childhood and Primary School teacher, The Nanny Collective director Daria Jelcic observed many Australian parents seeking alternatives to conventional childcare arrangements. However, with limited access to pools of trained Early Childhood professionals, these families struggled to source this quality in-home care. Thankfully, The Nanny Collective was conceived to bridge this gap.
With the transition to working parenthood being such an important step for many families, we aim to support parents in making childcare arrangements as easy and stress free as possible. We understand the difficulties many Australian families face when it comes to childcare and we hope to provide this industry with a variety of choice and flexibility.
Here at The Nanny Collective we hold the belief that nannying is an important and valuable profession which needs to comply with a set of industry standards. Such standards need to encompass quality of care, early education and improved employment standards for nannies and carers.
We look forward to being instrumental advocates in this movement. Our candidates are evaluated based on a strict criteria that reflects our hopes for professionalising this very important industry.
