Live-in Nanny

A live-in nanny cares for your child and resides within your home.

What Is a Live-in Nanny?

A live-in nanny cares for your child and resides within your home on a reduced wage. Many families love having a live-in nanny as they provide much needed flexibility and act as an extension of your family.

Live-in nannies are responsible for all duties related to the children as well as assisting with household chores including meal preparation and running errands. They can develop or follow established household schedules and engage your children in activities to ensure their healthy development.

What Makes Live-in Nannies Great?

Live-in nannies can alleviate a whole lot of pressure in busy households by providing families with an extra set of hands. They are often able to take on occasional evening and weekend babysitting too!

Families tend to develop close bonds with their live-in nannies and often see them as partners in parenting whilst children develop special, trusting bonds with their nannies.

What Do Live-in Nannies Require?

Live-in nannies require their own furnished bedroom and their own bathroom. They get paid less than live out nannies because some of their pay is used to subsidise their rent and living expenses.

Care arrangements vary from family to family so it is essential that all the tiny details be agreed upon in advance. That’s exactly what we’re here to help with!

Please Note: All of our permanent nanny roles have a minimum of 7 hours per nanny shift in one block.
