Some families prefer to hire a nanny themselves but don’t have the time or the resources to commit to what is a very consuming task.
Our team at the Nanny Collective can take care of the entire recruitment process for you.
PRICING
- None of the below pricing is fixed or guaranteed.
- Prices vary depending on the nanny’s experience, as well as the individual family’s needs and requirements.
- Deposits and booking fees are non-refundable and cover administrative costs.
In most cases, families can expect to pay approximately $35–45 p/h to their nanny.
- Once-off agency fees for permanent nannies start from $1,500 to $3,000 (including GST).
* We require a deposit of $800 to kickstart the recruitment process. (The deposit is included in the total price.)
* The remaining placement fee is only expected to be paid once your family has had the nanny for a 2-week probation period and would like to continue working with them. - Our initial daily booking fee for casual nannies is usually $80.
* Different rates apply for hotel, corporate, and urgent bookings. - The temporary nanny’s initial booking fee is $280, for a few weeks to a few months of nanny enquiry.
- The subsequent booking fee for casual and temp role is up to $30 per day.
* Some discounts may be provided for longer-term temporary bookings.
OUR Comprehensive permanent NANNY SERVICE INCLUDES:
- Establishing your families’ unique needs and drafting the advertisement for your position
- Advertising your role to our nanny database (phone and email), website, job boards, social media, etc.
- Pre-screening and interview potential candidates
- Verifying candidates’ Working with Children Checks and First Aid Certificates
- Compiling a shortlist of potential nannies and send nanny resumes for families to view
- Liaising with nannies and families to schedule interviews
- Conducting candidates’ child-related reference checks
- Providing a 2-week probation period for your selected nanny
- Supplying your family with a template Nanny/Family employment agreement (recently drafted by lawyers)
- Supporting both parties during recruitment and beyond successful placement

Once you have found your nanny, you must consider how you will go about paying them and staying compliant as an employer. Whilst some families are happy to manage this on their own, other families can find that this can be a very involved task and would prefer some guidance and support.
