Transparent Pricing, Tailored to Your Family
At The Nanny Collective, we believe finding the right nanny should feel simple, supported and stress-free. Our pricing is clear, flexible and tailored to the level of care and support your family needs. Every family is different.
Whether you need short-term help, casual care or a long-term placement, we offer options to suit your circumstances.
Permanent Nanny Placements
All agency fees are exclusive of GST.
For families seeking a long-term nanny relationship built on trust, consistency and the right fit.
We manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, reference checks and placement coordination.
- Total Agency Fee: $2,000–$4,000, depending on the number of working days and the type of nanny role.
- Initial Deposit: $800 (non-refundable), deducted from the total agency fee. This covers initial recruitment work, including administration, advertising and candidate sourcing.
- Remaining Placement Fee: Payable when your family confirms the placement, either upon signing the employment contract or after the nanny completes a two-week probation period, as agreed at the commencement of recruitment.
Ideal for families seeking a dedicated nanny who becomes a valued part of the household.
Temporary Nanny Placements
Designed for families requiring short-term childcare support for up to 6 months, including holiday cover or temporary gaps in care.
Initial Recruitment Deposit: $280–$480, required to commence recruitment and matching.
Daily Placement Fee: $25–$45 per day once your nanny is placed. The fee depends on your requirements, schedule and the level of support needed.
Casual and Ad hoc bookings
For families and organisations needing occasional childcare for events or specific occasions.
- Initial Booking Fee: $80–$200
- Additional Booking Fee: $35 per day for subsequent bookings within two weeks.
All agency fees are exclusive of GST. GST will be added to your invoice where applicable.
Our Comprehensive Permanent Nanny Service
Our permanent nanny placement service is a fully managed recruitment process designed to take the pressure off families while ensuring a precise and thoughtful match.
We take care of every stage, from understanding your needs through to successful placement and post-placement support.
How we work
We begin by taking time to understand your family in detail, including your routine, expectations, and the specific qualities you are looking for in a nanny. From there, we create a tailored job brief and advertise the role across our trusted networks, including our candidate database, job boards, website, and social media platforms.
All candidates are carefully pre-screened before being presented to you. This includes reviewing experience, qualifications, suitability, and alignment with your requirements. We then manage the entire selection process on your behalf, including:
- Advertising and sourcing suitable candidates
- Pre-screening and interviewing applicants
- Verifying Working With Children Checks, First Aid certification, and other relevant screening documentation
- Shortlisting the most suitable candidates and providing resumes with relevant notes and additional details for family review
- Coordinating and scheduling interviews with families and nannies
- Conducting thorough, child-related reference checks before placement
Once you have selected your preferred candidate, we support both parties through the placement process, including a structured two-week probation period to ensure the right fit for both the family and nanny.
We also provide a Nanny/Family Employment Agreement template to assist families in formalising their arrangement. This template is provided as a general guide only, and families should seek independent advice if required.
Ongoing support
Following a successful placement, we remain available to support both families and nannies with any questions or guidance needed during the transition period.
